Overweight and obesity are defined by the World Health Organisation as abnormal or excessive fat accumulation that may impair health.

But the actual question is WHY ARE WE OVERWEIGHT?

If we put it simply, your weight depends upon the number of calories you consume, how many of those calories you store and how many you burn up. But each of these factors are influenced by a combination of genes and environment. Both of these factors can affect your physiology as well as your behaviour.

  •  Increasing processed food consumption.
